And heck...I figured that Madonna/Richie thing would be over in a week...they far outperformed my expectations. Any man who can hang out with her and not have his gag reflex going crazy is one pretty tough dude.

Ah Madonna. I still haven't recovered from her breakup with Sean Penn. But who really, is surprised, by this latest? After seeing her interviews over the past several years, her Detroit accent morph to high british, her catholicism morph to kabbalah? Ooooh, I do find Hugh quite attractive. He's in my top ten Hot Celebrities. Of course, my list is a bit, shall we say, eclectic...

But oh yeah, I love a man who can sing. And the accent. And the smiles. AND he's a parent through adoption, just like me. *swoooon*

I've never gotten a gay vibe off of Hugh, though my gaydar has been notoriously off in the past. I had major, months-long crushes on not one but TWO different guys who were gay - once in high school, once in college. Both times, after the fact when I was gently informed they'd never be interested in me because of their orientation, I was all "DUH! Why didn't I see that?" So, I could be wrong, but either way, Hugh is YUMMY in my book. :)

And... you mention Rasputin, well, that makes me think of Alan Rickman's award-winning portrayal of the mad monk a few years back, and HE'S on my list of top ten Hot Celebrities, too. Rickman, I mean, not Rasputin.

i don't know... he doesn't do much for me, either. and the weird thing is, the more buff he has become, the LESS attractive i find him.

well, if madonna really wanted her marriage to last, she should have done what i did and give up her rockstar lifestyle and iconic status and jetsetting and focus on the kids. it's worked for me.
